Landscape Lighting

Low-voltage landscape lighting that extends your grounds into the evening — trees, paths, water, and outdoor rooms brought to life.

Landscape lighting turns a property’s grounds into a nighttime experience. Uplit trees become sculpture, paths become safe and inviting, and outdoor living areas stay usable long after sunset. We design and install low-voltage landscape lighting systems that are beautiful, durable, and tuned to the property rather than dropped in from a catalog.

The hallmark of professional landscape lighting is subtlety. You should see the lit tree, the glowing path, the reflection on the water — not the fixtures or the harsh point sources. We plan for that effect from the first fixture, using shielding, placement, and the right beam spreads to keep the system elegant.

Uplighting, moonlighting, and silhouetting

Mature trees and architectural plantings are the best canvases on most properties. Uplighting from the base reveals canopy structure and bark texture; moonlighting from high in a tree casts dappled, natural-looking light and shadow on the ground below; silhouetting backlights a specimen against a wall. We choose the technique per plant and per sightline, and we plan for growth so the system still works as the landscape matures.

Color temperature outdoors matters as much as indoors. We hold a warm, natural tone (typically 2700K) so foliage reads green and healthy rather than washed-out and blue.

Path, step, and safety lighting

Path and step lighting is where beauty and safety meet. We space path lights to graze the walking surface evenly — not to create a runway of glaring orbs — and we light steps, grade changes, and transitions so guests move through the property confidently in the dark. Discreet, shielded fixtures keep the focus on the landscape, not the hardware.

For driveways, courtyards, and motor courts, we plan lighting that defines the space and the approach without glare into drivers’ eyes.

Outdoor living, water, and durable systems

Pools, fountains, kitchens, pergolas, and fire features are the heart of Texas outdoor living, and they deserve lighting designed to make them usable and gorgeous after dark. We light cooking and gathering surfaces for function, and water and features for drama, all on controls that let you set the mood.

Every system is built to last: professional-grade brass and copper fixtures, properly sized transformers, direct-burial wiring, and waterproof connections. We commission the whole system at night and tune each fixture so the property looks its best from the windows and the patio.

Our process

01

Property walk

We walk the grounds at night, identify the trees, paths, and features worth lighting, and plan techniques per area.

02

Install & wire

We set professional fixtures, run direct-burial low-voltage wiring, and size transformers for the load and future growth.

03

Aim, tune & control

We aim each fixture at night, set timers and photocells, and walk the finished system with you from the house.

Frequently asked questions

Is landscape lighting low voltage?

Yes — quality landscape lighting runs on a 12V low-voltage system fed by a transformer, which is safer around plantings and water and lets us place and adjust fixtures precisely.

Will the system still look right as my trees grow?

We plan for growth. Fixtures are placed and aimed with maturity in mind, mounting hardware accommodates trunk growth, and the system can be re-aimed and expanded over time.

What kind of fixtures do you use?

Professional-grade brass and copper fixtures that develop a natural patina and last for decades — not the aluminum or plastic kits sold at big-box stores that fail within a season or two.
